Nancy E. Robinson dba H.O.P.E. CONSULTING & FACILIATION has many years of experience in community economic development. Nancy’s career began in Prince George B.C. where she grew up in an entrepreneurial environment owning and operating her first business at the age of 26.
Following her heart and lifelong dream Nancy, and her family moved to 160 acres outside of Clinton B.C. and built a ranch producing cattle, sheep, and poultry.
In 1992 Nancy became actively involved in community economic development and had the privilege to work with Canoe Creek Indian Band as Social Economic Development Coordinator and later as Band Manager. Through her administrative duties Nancy worked in partnership with many community leaders in the Cariboo Chilcotin.
During 1995 due to her husbands’ battle with cancer and a need to be closer to medical resources, Nancy and family moved to Kamloops. Six weeks after moving her husband lost his battle.
Nancy then pursued her self-employment career and was offered the position of General Manager for Community Futures in Kamloops. This is where the passion to work with entrepreneurs began.
Nancy moved back to her beloved ranch in 1999 and is a self-employed consultant and facilitator with entrepreneurs. She holds a Diploma in Adult Education and facilitates the growth and success of her clients. Nancy has specialized in market research and marketing for small business start-ups. She also writes articles on entrepreneurs and business resources.
To date Nancy has worked with over 1000 entrepreneurs and currently facilitates Business Development workshops for the Cariboo Chilcotin Community Futures, 100 Mile Community Employment Services and consulting in agricultural projects.
